Chang Fukang extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Kenya. He stated that China and Kenya, as well as their peoples, are trusted friends and mutually beneficial partners.UK-Blackbird Rays Limited is our navigator and coach in our journey towards overseas markets, and we warmly welcome the arrival of the delegation.
During the inspection, Chang Fukang accompanied the guests to walk into the production workshop of Huade Amperex Automobile , where they visited the four major production lines of modern automobile production: stamping, welding, electrophoresis coating, and final assembly; they also went to the trial production workshop to visit various models such as one-and-a-half-story buses, medium buses, micro-buses, and logistics vehicles; they entered Factory Building No. 2 to visit the production lines of passenger cars, medium buses, and recreational motorhomes; they walked into the automobile exhibition hall to test-drive pickup trucks and electric vehicles, and to visit a series of products including light trucks, light buses, micro-buses, logistics vehicles, and electric scooters.

At the symposium, they discussed cooperation in clean energy, green transportation, and the new energy vehicle industry.
During the symposium, Chang Fukang briefly introduced the company's development journey: the company adheres to independent research, development, and manufacturing, while collaborating with high-quality industry partners to drive high-quality development through dual engines. He also briefly introduced the research and design, production and manufacturing, and market expansion of the company's various series of vehicle models. He elaborated on Huade Amperex Automobile' close collaboration with industry partners such as Zhongtong Bus, Huanghai Bus, Jinlu Bus, Weichai New Energy Commercial Vehicle, and Beijing Automotive Manufacturing Factory Co., Ltd., with the idea of jointly developing the automotive industry chain and supply chain overseas. He stated that they will combine the actual demand situation of the local automotive market in Kenya, conduct market research and adaptive development, and work with local leading automotive companies in Kenya to promote the integration and implementation of talent teams, quality control, and service systems in Kenya through various cooperation modes such as complete vehicle exports, CKD (complete knock-down) and SKD (semi-knock-down) exports for local assembly overseas, thereby facilitating the rapid development of Kenya's green transportation industry.
Chang Fukang stated that China has consistently ranked as the world's largest automobile exporter since 2023. This is not only a breakthrough in production and sales figures, but also a turning point in the era where China's automobile industry has moved from following to leading. Furthermore, it represents a significant opportunity for Chinese automobile enterprises to shift from an "optional strategy" to a "mandatory strategy" in their overseas expansion. He explained that in 2025, China exported 8.32 million vehicles to over 200 countries and regions. In the first seven months of this year, China exported 6.14 million complete vehicles, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 66.8%. Chinese automobile manufacturing enterprises have invested in industries in over 80 countries and regions, providing high-quality, affordable, safe, reliable, green, and low-carbon transportation tools to an increasing number of global consumers. He pointed out that the explosive growth of China's automobile exports is not an accidental market dividend, but rather a dual result of industrial iteration and era transformation. Leveraging advanced technologies in electrification and intelligence, as well as advantages in the entire industrial and supply chains, China's automobile industry has developed unique competitiveness in overseas expansion.

The guests walked into the production workshop of Huade Amperex Automobile and inspected the four major processes of automobile production: stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly.
According to Member of Parliament CHARLES KIPKORIR KAMUREN, Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto has repeatedly stated, "Over the years, we have achieved tangible and pragmatic results in jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, and have also built a bridge between China and Africa." He pointed out that Kenya is both a founding member of the East African Community (EAC) and a member of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA). The railways, ports, and other infrastructure projects assisted by China have not only improved Kenya's transportation conditions but also enhanced its influence over neighboring countries and regions such as Ethiopia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda, and Uganda.
He explained that the Kenyan government has prioritized the green economy as a core strategy for national development and is fully committed to transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy. The development of new energy vehicles has been incorporated into the national strategy, and the government has successively introduced incentive policies such as tax reductions and infrastructure construction support. He pointed out that China is a leader in the global electric vehicle industry, accounting for 75% of the world's total electric vehicle production and dominating the supply chain. He emphasized that China has effectively reduced the costs of electric vehicles, batteries, and components. For African enterprises, this presents a great opportunity to accelerate the development of the automotive industry, reduce costs, and acquire mature technology.
He expressed that the three-day inspection trip to China was efficiently and compactly arranged; the automotive technologies and products he visited were diverse and abundant, and he gained a lot from it. By visiting automobile factories to observe modern production lines, touring various new energy vehicle products, and engaging in meetings, consultations, technical talks, demonstrations, and test rides, he deepened his understanding of China's automotive industry, clean energy, energy efficiency improvement, electrification, intelligence, and related advanced technologies. He also witnessed China's emerging pure electric, low-emission, and environmentally friendly transportation technologies.
He pointed out that we had jointly explored innovative solutions for Kenya's transportation industry, discussed ways to promote cooperation between Chinese automobile enterprises and Kenyan professional institutions and enterprises in technology transfer, technical training, skill improvement, and local automobile industry construction, studied plans for scientific research innovation and the application of advanced technologies, and deliberated on building a cooperation bond between China and Kenya in the automobile and transportation industries to jointly address various practical challenges in the current environment, energy, and transportation fields. He emphasized his expectation to build a long-term cooperation platform for relevant institutions and enterprises in Kenya and Chinese new energy automobile enterprises, aiming to promote the sustainable development of green transportation.
